Document Description
The proposed removal action at Site 9 includes the installation of a 2,500 ft. horizontal extraction well along the existing surf road for plume containment, an array of 23 vertical groundwater/vapor extraction wells in the potential source area for source remove the main source of the TCE; 3) a carbon treatment system to remove the containments from the extracted groundwater and soil vapor; and 4) a discharge pipeline for the treated groundwater and vapor. The treated vapor will be discharged to the atmosphere and the treated groundwater will be discharged to the existing surface drainage areas and/or below grade by infiltration.
