Title: Remedial Action Plan for Saugus Industrial Center
Description: The Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) has approved a Removal Action Plan (RAP) pursuant to Chapter 6.8, Division 20, sections 25323.1 and 25356.1 for the Saugus Industrial Center facility. The purpose of the project is to remediate soil and groundwater impacted with Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) which include Tetrachloroethylene (PCE) and Trichloroethylene (TCE), 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2-DCA), toluene, vinyl chloride (VC), and chloroform (CF) that environment. A soil Vapor Extraction (SVE) system will be used to remove VOCs from impacted soils and in-situ biological treatment will be used to remediate groundwater.
