Keswick Water System Improvement Project

Description

The State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) is a responsible agency for this project. The SWRCB's Safe Drinking Water Proposition 50 Program is providing state funds for the project. The Shasta County Department of Public Works proposes infrastructure improvements to the water treatment plant and to an adjacent 0.05 million gallon (MG) storage tank, replace an existing 0.15 (MG) on water tank with a 0.50 MG tank and construction of an intertie with the city of Redding water system to provide an emergency back-up water supply.
