Title: Construction and Operation of Building 49 Office Building
Description: The third-party Building 49 development project will construct a six-story, approximately 61,400 gross square feet (gsf) office building on a 1.08-acre site on the hillside east of Cyclotron Road within the boundaries of the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL). The office building will accommodate approximately 240 scientists and support staff. The building site is located within the "Central Research and Administration Area" of the Lab designated for "proposed addition" in the LBNL 1987 Long Range Development Plan ("LRDP"}.
