Title: Robert Paine Scripps Center at Scripps Institution of Oceanography Project
Description: The Robert Paine Scripps Center is designed to provide a state of the art center for convening conferences and meetings for the purpose of scholarly exchange, and special events. A graduate student lounge and snack bar will be relocated to the new facility. The building program would consist of approximately 15,000 gross square feet, to include a main auditorium space, which would accommodate up to 250 people in theater-style seating, an outdoor gathering/dining area for 150 people, four conference rooms of various sizes, a catering kitchen, a restaurant, work/ copy/ prep room, support spaces, and a lobby.
