Agreement Regarding Proposed Stream Alteration (SAA #R5-2001-0131)

Description

CDFG is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (SAA #R5-2001-0131) pursuant to Section 1601 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. The applicant proposes to alter the streambed by constructing a new 54" water pipeline that would cross an unnamed tributary to Encino Creek in the Sepulveda Flood Control Basin. The trench would be approximately 35 feet wide. The channel crossing will result in no more than 0.07 acres of wetlands to be temporarily impacted. Mitigation shall include the enhancement of no more than 0.14 acres (on-site or off-site). The project is located in the City of Los Angeles in Los Angeles County.
