- The applicant proposes to construct and operate about 79.9 miles of 36-inch and 30-inch diameter natural gas pipeline extending from an interconnection with El Paso Natural Gas Company in La Paz County, Arizona, through Riverside and Imperial Counties, California to the international border between the United States and Mexico. The project will result in impacts to Gila woodpeckers, which are protected under the California Endangered Species Act, requiring issuance of a California Incidental Take Permit.
