Description

CDFG is executing Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement number R2-2002-55 pursuant to Section 1601 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant Brent Smith of the Placer County Water Agency. Close a bypass tunnel on the North Fork American River which was built to provide bypass flows through Auburn Dam construction area. Also includes building a year-round pumping facilitye wit fish screens on the banks of the American River to divert water to the Placer County water Agency. Phase 3 will restore 3/4 mile section of the river reach that has been adversely impacted by the dam construction activities.
