Description: General Plan Update A comprehensive update to existing 1983 General Plan to include the corporate area of the City (5.21 sq mi) and the City's Sphere of Influence (1.26 sq. mi). Based on the potential build out projections contained in the draft Land Use Element, an estimated 379 new dwelling units and 2,087,000 sq. ft. of retail and non-retail development will be added to the City and its Sphere of Influence during this planning period (1998-2015).
