VISTA VALLEY POLO CLUB, SAN DIEGO (LOG 88-2-31/TM 4736)

Description

CDFW is intending to execute a Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code (#1600-2010-011-R5) to the project applicant, SGM Investments are represented by Ibrahim Ghattas. The Project is the development of the Polo Club at Vista Valley; an approximately 449-acre site subdivided into 156 single-family residential lots. Project activities will impact streambed and riparian habitat in 14 drainages. Impacts include fill from grading of residential pads, removal of vegetation of fire prevention, and the construction of roads, bridges, and utilities. A 40-foot wide bridge with a span of 188 feet will span a portion of the North Folk of Gopher Canyon Creek and a Con-Arch structure will be installed under North Fork Drive. Implementation of the project will temporarily impact 0.57 acre and permanently impact 2.96 acres of riparian and streambed habitat, respectively. Applicant will mitigate with 2.96 acres of creation, 0.57 acre of restoration and 6.49 acres of preservation of like habitat.
