Document Description
Equipping of existing Well 43 drilled October 2007 with a 900 horsepower (HP) vertical pump with a capacity of 3,800 gallons per minute (gpm). The project will consist of an above ground masonry block building, an on-site sodium hypochlorite generation system, mechanical piping, electrical, HVAC, instrumentation, a 600 HP backup generator with a 24-hour fuel tank, and landscaping. The building square footage is approximately 1,500 sq. ft. on a 19,500 sq. ft. lot. The project will improve water system reliability, service pressures, fire flow, and water quality during emergency events.
