Document Description
Caltrans proposes to repair and replace culvert and drainage systems on State Route 79 (SR-79) from Post Mile 20.3-53.0 in San Diego County. The project will also address the state’s transportation assets that have been determined to be in a poor or fair condition to meet the district’s ten-year performance plan. The scope of work also includes replacement of sign panels, and installation of crosswalks and solar shade panels. Staging and repair or replacement of culverts will occur within a 20 ft. x 20 ft. access area at each culvert inlet and outlet. The purpose of this project is to extend serviceability and to prevent potential damage to the highway system.
