Document Description
The proposed Climate and Environmental Action Plan sets forth climate and environmental goals, policies, and implementation actions to protect the environment and address the challenges of climate change. Actions address the sectors responsible for climate change-related emissions - energy, buildings, transportation, solid waste, and water, and include measures to adapt, and increase resilience, to the impacts of climate change. The Plan reflects the community's current vision for Thousand Oaks and includes measures to implement environmental and climate-related policies contained in the City's recently adopted General Plan.
