During emergency cleanup of a fuel spill at the VA Hospital, excavation of contaminated soil exposed a storm drainpipe. The Project will replace the damaged outfall with a bioengineered outfall. The bioengineered outfall will be constructed of timbers and rock that will be overlain with soil and vegetated.
