- Install erosion control measures at nine (9) locations along the upper road
consisting of the following actions:
- Remove and recompact slumping soil at the upslope roadway locations to repair
erosion.
- Install rock slope protection in the erosion-prone drainages.
- Install straw wattles and check dams in the drainages.
- Install hydroseeded erosion control blankets on exposed soil; and
- Install earth berms to direct water to existing systems in the Pergola.
All project work will comply with California Public Resources Code, the California Fish and Game Code, the Endangered Species Act, the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, and the Secretary of Interior standards for the preservation and treatment of historic resources.
