Document Description
The Yolo County Department of Community Services, Public Works Division, and the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), Division of Local Assistance, are proposing to replace the existing bridge on County Road (CR) 96 crossing over Dry Slough with funding made available through FHWA Highway Bridge Program and administered by Caltrans. The bridge (Bridge No. 22C0127), constructed in 1929, was determined to be functionally obsolete by Caltrans and has a sufficiency rating of 53.6. The proposed Project will construct a new bridge, approximately 60 feet long, along the same roadway alignment that will accommodate two 11-foot travel lanes with two-foot shoulders. The roadway and bridge profile will be raised slightly to clear the 100-foot storm event.
A Mitigated Negative Declaration was adopted by the Yolo County Board of Supervisors on November 22, 2022.
