This Project is intended to prevent naturally occurring sediments from inundating the three Majors Creek Diversion bypass valves during storm events and to maintain sediment transport dynamics. The project is limited to the operation of existing pneumatic valves at the Majors Creek Diversion as partially described in Streambed Alteration Agreement #1600-2009-0404-R3. Sediment and vegetation removal previously authorized under Agreement #1600-2009-0404-R3 is currently authorized under Agreement #1600-2015-0416-RJ and is not covered under this Agreement.
