Document Description
Emergency repairs and replacement of fish hatchery equipment, utilities, and infrastructure that were damaged in the CZU lightning complex wildfire. Project will restore the Kingfisher Flat Hatchery to its pre-wildfire status and capacity by replacing
water intake infrastructure components on Big Creek and Berry Creek, filling the unused upper raceway with gravel for placement of rearing, spawning, and handling tanks, constructing an 8-foot by 16-foot bathroom and changing room with water and flush toilet connected to an engineered septic system, reconstructing upper bridge on Big Creek Road, and grading and filling an unprotected vertical cut bank to 3:1 slope and revegetating with native riparian plants. equipment, or topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of an existing use; the replacement or reconstruction of existing structures and facilities where the new structure will be located on the same site as the structure replaced and will have substantially the same purpose and capacity as the structure replaced; and, minor public or private alterations in the condition of land, water, and/or vegetation
which do not involve removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees except for forestry or agricultural purposes.
