The California Department of Toxic Substances Control (D T S C), pursuant to authority granted under California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 4.5, Chapter 20, Section 66270.61, has issued an Emergency Permit to University of California-Davis (E P A I D# CAT080031115) to treat hazardous waste through a controlled reaction with a chemical solution. The hazardous waste to be treated consists of three one-liter containers of Tetrahydrofuran, one one-liter container of Benzoyl Alcohol, and one 100-milliliter container of Borane THF.
