Document Description
The proposed work would include approximately 20 geotechnical investigations (borings and/or trenches) located north of the existing Sacramento Weir and Bypass. The investigations would be performed during late October 2019 through November 2019. Borings would be drilled to a depth of approximately 50 to 100 feet. Woody vegetation , such as trees and shrubs, would not be impacted as part of the proposed work. The actual number, depth, and locations of borings would be determined in the field based on factors including existing conditions, physical access, safety and environmental concerns, and nature of underlying material.
