Document Description
The California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC), pursuant to authority granted under California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 4.5, Chapter 20, Section 66270.61, has issued an Emergency Permit to California State University, East Bay (EPA ID: CAD981398506) to treat hazardous waste through a controlled reaction with a chemical solution. The specific quantities of the 14 chemicals to be treated are provided in the table below. All 53 containers must be chemically stabilized prior to transport to a permitted treatment, storage, and disposal facility.
