The AF proposes to continue operation and maintenance of the Combat Arms Range (CAR) on Edwards AFB. Actions are also proposed to upgrade the CAR. The CAR has been in operation since 1963. Several actions are required to bring the range into compliance with current safety regulations. The EA for Continued Operation and Maintenance of the Combat Arms Range at Edwards AFB, CA, examines the environmental effects of two alternatives for upgrading the CAR and continuing current training operations at the CAR.
