Document Description
The SJVRWRF SHC storage facilities will consist of two new fiber reinforced plastic SHC storage tanks, located in the containment area currently occupied by the caustic storage tank used in the chlorine scrubber system. A new metal canopy will be constructed to provide shade and reduce chlorine decay in the SHC storage tanks. New valves and piping will be installed to connect the tanks to two new SHC feed pump skids, located inside the existing chlorinator room. One skid will contain three pumps and serve disinfection. The second skill will contain two pumps and serve the return activated sludge/waste activated sludge system and pre-filter chlorination.
