As a consequence of the Butte Fire which started on September 9, 2015 roadside traffic signs were burned and required replacement. Debris removal efforts were performed in order to restore essential traffic. The governor declared the Butte Fire incident to be an emergency on September 11, 2016. This qualifies under §15269 (a), (b), and (c).
