Document Description
CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2016-0062-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Elliot Homes, Inc, as represented by Price Walker. The project is limited to the construction of new a two-lane bridge over Alder Creek. Construction consists of a road crossing with a span length of 36 feet. The road width is proposed to be approx. 46 feet plus sidewalk of 6.5 feet, shoulder of 2 to 4.5 feet, not including the graded toe slopes extending out from the crossing structure. Surface material will consist of paved road on the crossing surface and native soil on the toe slopes. A precast con-span bridge system will be used to span the drainage and construct the bridge. Fill material will consist of native soil and concrete. The footing for the con-span system will be excavated and concrete will be poured to secure the footings. The con-span bridge design utilizes pre-cast headwalls. In addition, masonry retaining walls will be placed alongside the con-span structure. Native soil at both ends of the span will serve as abutment; the pre-fabricated components of the con-span bridge preclude the need for additional abutments.
