Document Description
Issue a Special Event Permit to John Marsh Historic Trust for the 2014 Stone House Heritage Day Event at Marsh Creek State Park. This special event is open to the public and will take place on October 11, 2014, in an open field adjacent to, but completely outside the historic John Marsh Home. Event includes presentations, performances, and hands-on activities related to John Marsh and Native Americans. Hay bales, sand boxes, portable restrooms, a replica covered wagon, and catering trucks will be located on site in support of the event. A large oak tree in the event area will be cordoned off to protect the tree and limit hazards from low limbs. Public parking for up to 600 cars will be delineated for use by attendees. Park staff will be present to ensure public safety and local fire department and ambulance services have been notified of the event.
