Document Description
Installation and operation of up to 90 LMR communications sites in Los Angeles County and portions of adjacent Orange and San Bernardino counties to provide voice communications coverage for emergency responders. The proposed sites are within or adjacent to existing communication facilities to the maximum extent feasible. The project consist of installation of antennas on existing and new lattice towers and monopoles and supporting radio equipment in existing and new shelters. Sites may also include new emergency generators. New lattice towers would generally not exceed 180 feet in height. New monopoles would generally be 70 feet tall. Maximum construction footprints would not exceed 5,000 sf at a site.
