Document Description
The project involves the construction of a 12' wide segment of foot trail and elevated boardwalk on City open space property between Crescent Drive and Green Valley road within the Struve Slough sub watershed of the Watsonville Slough system. This proposed section of the trail alignment is approximately 2,100 linear feet and follows approximately 1,500 linear feet of existing access roads and foot trails. About 600 feet of the proposed trail route passes through willow riparian and ruderal grassland habitat. Where the trail crosses through the periodically flooded willows, a raised boardwalk approximately 200 feet long is proposed.
