Document Description
The project is limited to the removal of non-native and invasive vegetation, revegetation with native species, and in-stream removal of accumulated debris, as well as, trimming vegetation. Debris and vegetation removal will occur above the ordinary high water mark (OHWM) using hand held equipment such as weed trimmers, chain saws, and other small hand held power equipment. Two different methods of planting may be utilized; broadcast seeding by hand, hydroseeding, or a combination of the two. The project area includes the stream zone and adjacent areas containing Tree of Heaven. The vegetation will be removed from the stream banks. No heavy equipment will enter the stream and stream banks. Non-native vegetation will be stored and burned on site according to local buring and air quality ordinances.
