The California Department of Toxic Substances control, pursuant to the authority granted under chapter 6.8, of the Health and Safety Code Regs., tit. 22, is considering the Removal of Action Workplan (C2 REM, February 2013) for the Rippy Property Site. The Site RAW will address surface-impacted soils that are likely associated with Chevron's California Spray Chemical (Cal-Spray) former operations on site.

DTSC has determined with certainty that there is no possibility that the activities in question may have a significant effect on the environment because the project would not result in "a substantial, or potentially substantial, adverse change in any of the physical conditions within the area affected by the project, including land, air, water, minerals, flora, fauna, ambient noise, and object of historic or aesthetic significance". Furthermore, the site is not included on a list of hazardous materials sites complied pursuant to Government Code Section 65962.5.
