Document Description
The California Department of FIsh and Wildlife (CDFW) is issuing a permit amendment to Great White Adventures (Permittee) pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 2081(a) for underwater cage diving and research assistance for adult and subadult white shark in central and southern Californai waters. The purpose of the work is to provide recreational diving opportunities to view white sharks and to continue to provide digital identification photos to white shark researchers; to allow CDFW onboard to observe and monitor diving activity; to provide shark educational materials to divers and surface observers; and to provide an onboard naturalist to educate people about white shark ecology.
