Document Description
The project is limited to removal of accumulated sediments from the mouth of either diversion inlet using an extended reach excavator or a dragline in order to allow water to reach diversion pumps and in the back end of each inlet. This work is only performed during low water years when river flows do not over-top accumulated sediments. Accumulated sediments are removed from the back of the inlets, moving toward the mouth in order to minimize turbidity in the river channel with breakthrough to the channel.
