Document Description
The project involves dredging the bottom bay muds of the Vallejo Yacht Club marina. Routine dredging episodes will about every 4 years and will encompass the entire footprint of the marina which includes the entrance channel, turning basin, fairways, and all the berths. It is estimated that approximately 70,000 cubic yards of material will be removed over a 10-year period of routine dredging. A barge mounted clamshell dredge will be used to excavate approximately 14,000 cubic yards of sediment during the first dredging episode. The first dredge episode spoils will be disposed at the unconfined aquatic disposal site location SF-9 in the Carquinez Strait. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2013-0165-R3 is pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1602.
