Document Description
Glenn-Colusa Irrigation District is proposing to transfer up to 5,000 acre feet in 2013 to the San Luis & Delta Mendota Water Authority for sale to the Authority's member agencies in San Joaquin, San Benito and Santa Clara Counties. A more robust project description, with maps, is set forth in Chapter 2 of the accompanying Initial Study/Negative Declaration. The Transferred water will supplement Central Valley Project water supplies for the participants in Fresno, Kings, Merced, San Benito, and San Joaquin counties, who will receive only 20% of their contract supplies during this water year. The transfer period would commence ~July 1, 2013 and end September 2013.
