Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife is issuing a permit to Carol Witham pursuant to Fish and Game section 2081(a) for a project to establish additional populations of Orcuttia viscida (Sacramento Orcutt grass) on protected lands within the Mather Core Recovery Area of the Southeastern Sacramento Vally vernal pool region in Sacramento County. Whole plants will be collected and bagged from the Kiefer Landfill Wetland Preserve (donor site) after the plants have set seed and died. No more than one percent of the population in any given pool will be collected and no collections will be made from pools with less than 1,000 plants.
