The proposed Earlimart Community Park will be constructed on approximately four vacant acres of an 8.46 acre parcel (APN 3318-084-001) and adjacent to Earlimart Elementary School. The proposed park will include direct, on-site access to the existing school yard. The main park area will include a playground apparatus area, barbecues, pavilions, a walking path, lighting, landscaping, a multi-use event area with shade structure and sloped turf for seating. The park will be surrounded by ornamental fencing and will include three gateways featuring community artwork. A biofiltration swale will be constructed to capture on-site drainage of storm-water.
