Document Description
The project is limited to the installation of bank stabilzation (approximately 621-feet long x 8-foot tall using native boulders), to prevent future seasonal shoreline erosion. Native boulders shall be placed across the rip rap to create a natural rock staircase to allow for safe beach access. A 4000# Excavator shall be used to place the boulders. Access for the excavator will be along the dry lake shore after water levels have receded. No native vegetation shall be removed as part of the project, and the project shell be installed during seasonal recession of water. Work shall not be undertaken during inclement weather, periods of precipitation or forecase precipitation, and hay bales will be used if rain is anticipated. No excavation shall occur within the water of Lake Almanor.
