Document Description
The Project includes the replacement of an existing culvert with a 3-foot diameter 16-foot long concrete culvert to provide access to the property. Concrete wing walls, sized so that fill slopes are no greater than 2:1 (H: V) from the road edge to the wing wall, will be constructed on the upstream and downstream ends of the culvert. Ten cubic yards of soil material will be removed around the existing culvert and 18 cubic yards of fill will be used to replace the cut. The backfill will be compacted at least 95% of relative density and the upper 12 inches of new road surfaces will consist of Class 2 base rock. All project construction work will be completed during the summer months when the stream channel is dry. CDFW is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement, Number 1600-2013-0096-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Permittee, Burke Land Use.
