Document Description
CHP, with the assistance of the Department of General Services, is proposing to replace and upgrade the Truckee CHP telecommunications facility to meet the CHP's Enhanced Radio System requirements. The new facility would also be designed to meet CA Building Code (CBC) Title 24 Standards including Essential Services requirements. The proposed project includes acquisition of a 0.09-acre site adjacent to the CHP Truckee Area Office, construction of a new self-supporting, four-leg, 120-foot-tall tower and an equipment vault, underground utility line installation. Upon completion of construction, two existing towers at the CHP Area Office would be removed; these towers are approximately 55 feet and 92 feet in height.
