The project proposes approval of Rezone, Tentative Map, and a Minor Use Permit to allow for a school facility to relocate from Nevada County to the Sugar Bowl Ski Resort located in Placer County. Upon completion of all construction phases, the academy will provide a total of five buildings (one to three stories) that will include classrooms, training facilities, common areas, and student living, with on-site parking for approximately 75 students (from 6th through 12th grade) during the traditional school year from August to June.
