Document Description
The project is limited to routine maintenance dredging of approximately 11,800 cubic yards of sediment over a five-year period from the 2.8 acre Sacramento Yacht Club harbor located on the Sacramento River. The maintenance dredging shall occur in an area of approximately 50,000 s.f. The dredge material shall be removed using a barge-mounted excavator dredge with a clamshell bucket. The dredge material shall be pumped to an upland area adjacent to the Sacramento Yacht Club parking lot. The dredge spoils placement area is approximately 14,000 s.f. The design depths for the two dredge areas (dock area and channel) are 3.0 feet mean lower low water (MLLW) for the docks and -5.0 for the channel area. Existing depths within the two dredge areas range from +3.7 feet MLLW to -18.8 MLLW. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2011-0068-3 is pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1602.
