The purposed project is the reissuance of the General 401 water quality certification for the Regional Water Board to continue to regulate the eligible Trinity River Channel Rehabilitation projects under section 401 of the Clean Water Act. This IS supports the determination that the initial project and this subsequent project are nearly identical and described in the Master EIR it is tiered from #2008032110. Restoration activities propose to increase salmon and steelhead habitat downstream of Lewiston Dam on the mainstem Trinity River.
