Reasons for Exemption
Phase II of the Resort at Squaw Creek was approved as a tentative map and conditional use permit in 1990. Phase II of the Resort underwent environmental review under CEQA in the form of a project EIR and an addendum to the original project EIR. The Placer County Board approved the final maps for Phase II, and its approval of a final map is a ministerial act under CEQA Guidelines section 15268 (b)(3). Thus, the approval of the final maps is exempt from CEQA as a ministerial action.
