The proposed action consists of the incremental increase of a 63' raise of the San Vicente Dam, providing 100,000 acre-feet of additional water storage in the reservoir. In 1996, the Water Authority approved raising the existing San Vicente Dam by 54' to provide ~52,100 AF of emergency water storage capacity. This would result in an overall dam height increase of 117', for a total new dam height of 337'.
