Document Description
An addendum to the Final EIR for the Women's Detention Facility Replacement Project (June 24, 2009) was prepared in support of the proposal to authorize advertising and award of a design-build contract. The project will replace the existing Las Colinas Detention Facility with a new 1,216-bed women's detention facility to provide adequate female bed space for the projected number of female inmates in 2020 and to facilitate implementation of the Sheriff's Department's inmate management philosophy. There are no changes to the original project.
