Document Description
The South County Recycled Water Master Plan (SCRWMP) Project (project) involves the phased installation of 10.2 miles of pipeline and supporting appurtenances (storage tank at existing facility, a pump and booster station at Christmas Hill Park) from an existing wastewater treatment facility to numerous end users in the City of Gilroy and its vicinity. When fully implemented, the SCRWMP could provide up to 3,000 acre-feet of recycled water annually. The SCRWMP Program Environmental Impact Report (PEIR) analyzes the Short Term phases (Phase 1A and Phase 1B) at a project level and the long term phases (Phase 2 and Phase 3) at a program level.
