Document Description
The California Department of Transportation and Federal Highway Administration will place an asphalt-rubber concrete overlay (45 mm) over the full width of the existing roadway, including paved shoulders. Other construction activities included in this project will be; repairing digouts, restoring count stations, raising guard-rails and upgrading the end treatments, adjusting drainage inlets to match new pavement height, and backing shoulders. In addition, all opaque road signs will be changed to retro-reflective signs and posts will be replaced as necessary. All work other than sign changes will remain within the hinge points, however, the following existing pull-outs meet CEQA and NEPA compliance for parking, staging, and material stockpiling use. No expansion of these pull-outs will occur.
