Document Description
Due to implementation of levee improvements associated with the Southport Sacramento River Early Implementation Project, the overall land area for the previously approved River Park project was reduced by approx 120 acres. Several designated land uses within the removed acreage, including recreational uses, necessitated reconsideration of these portions of the approved land plan. The remaining acreage, approx 370 acres, is proposed to be developed with a reconfigured mixed-use community that would provide approx 2,732 residential units (versus 2,788 units in previously approved plan), an elementary school, approx 40,000 sf of neighborhood commercial, and a network of trails.
