Document Description
Goodyear No. 4 is a drinking water supply well in the Florence-Graham System of the Southern California Water Company (SCWC). The subject well (Well) is owned and operated by SCWC and located at East 61st Street in Los Angeles County. The Well has a pumping capacity of 800 gallons per minute. The Well was removed from service on June 16, 2003 due to Volatile Organic Contamination (VOC) in the well water. Installation of a Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) facility has been proposed at the site to remove the VOCs and a permit application for the proposed GAC treatment dated March 10, 2004 was filed at the DHS.
