Document Description
To address the need for immediate relief of over crowding in the California State Prison System due to unexpected increases in statwide inmate population the California Department of Corrections proposes to activate 108 emergency beds at Centinela State Prison. CDC proposes to activate dayroom sections of the 270-design facilities to accommodate placement of 108 beds to existing structures through minor remodeling and retrofitting. The project will require approximately 18 full time staff.
